Biography

Anna is an MD/PhD student, currently in the PhD phase as part of the Neuroscience Graduate Program/Carney Institute for Brain Sciences. Her research focuses on understanding the neurophysiological circuits that regulate loss and recovery of awareness, with the goal of developing circuit-based interventions for patients with disorders of consciousness. Her clinical interest is functional neurosurgery, and she is originally from Hawaii.
