Warren Alpert Physician-Scientist MD/PhD and Advanced Training Program

Owen Traylor is an MD/PhD student, originally from New Orleans. His undergraduate research with Drs. Armin Kargol and Anat Burger at Loyola-New Orleans was concerned with the hysteretic conductance behavior of the Shaker potassium ion channel and its utility in describing channel gating dynamics. Clinically, he is interested in pediatric neurosurgery and fetal neurosurgery. He loves running and cooking and how much doing more of one allows him to do more of the other.
